This retreat is an immersion into the sacred art of loving — loving the Divine, loving one another, and learning to love yourself without condition.
Held at The Yoga Sanctuary, our modern treehouse surrounded by rainforest and birdsong, the Bhakti Yoga Retreat invites you into a rhythm of prayerful movement, sacred sound, and embodied remembrance.
Over these sacred days together, we will explore:
• Daily heart-centered yoga and meditation
• Mantra and kirtan practice
• Japa meditation and sacred repetition
• Teachings from the Bhakti tradition and the Bhagavad Gita
• A devotional cacao ceremony
• Community seva and shared ritual
• A Temazcal ceremony for purification and surrender
• Stargazing and evening reflection circles
• Time in nature at Tirimbina Biological Reserve
You will be invited to move beyond performance and into presence.
Beyond control and into trust.
Beyond guardedness and into surrender.
Bhakti teaches us that love is not a fleeting emotion.
It is a spiritual technology.
It transforms the one who offers it.
What’s Included
• Three nourishing meals daily prepared with fresh, local ingredients
• Shared lodging in our yoga-inspired themed rooms
• One therapeutic massage
• All workshops, classes, and ceremonies
Shared roundtrip transportation is available for $50.
Optional excursions such as the waterfall and La Fortuna experience are available for $65.
Investment & Application
This retreat is application-based only to preserve the intimacy and devotional integrity of the container.
Exchange: $600 and a devotional offering. It can be a meal, a yoga class, teas, a workshop, etc.
We welcome those who feel genuinely called to the path of devotion and are ready to participate fully in community, practice, and inner work.
