The Journey
Day 1 – September 16: Arrival & Soft Landing
You arrive at the sanctuary and step into sacred space. After settling in, we share our first meal together. As the sun sets, we gather around the fire to open the retreat, set intentions, and welcome the week ahead.
Day 2 – September 17: Orientation & Grounding
Our morning yoga leads into a workshop exploring what it means to come home to yourself. We meet in circle for orientation, to connect with one another, and to set personal intentions. The evening closes with a gentle meditation by candlelight.
Day 3 – September 18: Immersion in Nature
We journey to Tirimbina Biological Reserve for a mindfulness walk through the rainforest. Silence, breath, and the wisdom of the jungle guide our steps. A tea ceremony and restorative yoga nurture us in the evening.
Day 4 – September 19: Waters of Renewal
We travel to La Fortuna Hot Springs, soaking in the healing waters and receiving the medicine of flow. This is a day of deep relaxation, laughter, and renewal. Massages and bodywork begin this evening back at the sanctuary.

Day 5 – September 20: Sacred Fire & Purification
In the morning we explore how to weave Ayurveda into daily life. In the afternoon, those who wish may enter the Temazcal Ceremony, a traditional sweat lodge of purification, prayer, and renewal. As night falls, we gather for a burn ceremony to release what no longer serves us.
Day 6 – September 21: Living as Ritual
Today is for exploring the art of everyday rituals. Through hands-on practice—whether with cacao, journaling, or sacred movement—we discover how to infuse daily life with meaning. In the afternoon, we venture into town for food, connection, and play. The evening holds another tea ceremony and restorative yoga.
Day 7 – September 22: Integration & Closing
Our final morning is for reflection, gratitude, and integration. After yoga and breakfast, we gather in circle to close the retreat—sharing what we’ve received, and sealing the intentions we will carry home. Departures follow with hearts open and renewed.
